Thats why i am getting laid off now. No new houses being built,so no new boilers(as in heating) being put in = no orders.

Yes i think it is going to get a lot worse. Thing is if i had done this 12mths ago we would have had a temp company contract by now and then we would more than likey been ok. We are both very good/hard workers so we have a lot of senior staff on our side. They have said soon as it picks up again they will have us back like a shot. I personally think the company carries a lot of dead wood(the sort that can not do certain job because of this ailment or that ailment, those that take lots of sickies, are late ect)and i think by getting rid of agency first, they are going to then sort out the contract staff.Ahh well getting the paint pots out this weekend might as well make myself useful whilst i have the time.Lol

Well i do really think the banks get what they deserve now apart from Co-op of course who i can only praise for giving people another chance in other words treat you like a real person.

I have to admit for the last couple of years i thought i could see this coming as things just kept rising but my wages never rose with it and the same with housing. If you speak to estate agents they agree the houses are not really worth the money they are at but they go along with it as it makes them a bigger %. Now i feel because of greed a lot more people will suffer.

Good news is i feel now that i get to meet more nice people on here.

I told my daughter about all the nice posts i had off you all. Also told her about a few other things that have been happening on the forum. She was well impressed by you all.

I really don't feel i deserve all this, whatever i have done, has been to try and help you from feeling like i did before i found this. It was the most horrendous time of my life. One past poster knows a little but even my family do not know all the details. It is something i carry myself, and it gets heavy at times.

Maybe if all those drinks get taken you will all find out my sordid past:rotfl: .

Thankyou son and future daughter-in-law for you lovely thoughts and taking the time to write to me here and on my msn.It really does mean a lot. This being the first time i have really needed the forum support,i can not begin to tell you how much better it has made me feel.

I will never be able to thank or explain to those who have sent messages, what exactly it has mean't to me.

Just wish now i had kept my mouth shut on another thread that day.
I hurt BH and for that i am deeply ashamed of myself. As so many people say "If you can not say anything nice then don't not say it". Before anybody else defends me please,do not comment on this last paragraph, let my applogy stand and lets move on. Life is too short to bear grudges

    Thanks.D

Actually i am going to comment on that last bit, because i never do as im told:p

I understand why people react to BH the way they do, as i did when we first, well clashed i think is the best description. But if you hang around long enough and pay atention to the little things she posts, you would start to see her a bit differantly, i wont say anymore as i dont want to embaress her but will say some things are never what they seem if you just take the time to look
