I would keep my breadmaker. It is like a friend to me now. I must give it love and attention almost every day and it rewards me tenfold!
Also OH and DS will now eat more interesting bread. DS loves my 5-seed bread (sometimes 4-seed depending upon supplies) and previously he wouldn't eat anything with bits in and loved the white cotton-wool style bread from the supermarket. Now he asks for fruit loaf, seedy bread and malt loaf. Brilliant!Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Well… a very good question. When I was single, I was happy, contented, and naturally Old Style. Then I got married, and for a number of years I became unhappy, discontented and New Style. Then I got divorced, and once again became happy, contented and naturally Old Style – hooray. :rotfl:

Definately the way I shop and meal plan - I used to be terrible at just going into the supermarket and picking up whatever I liked and used to throw away loads of food as I couldn't use it all up/it would go off before I had got around to using it.
I feel quite ashamed at how much food I used to waste.

There are so many things that I would hate to give up.
I think I would have to keep cooking from scratch, but then theres the recycling(a lot more) and saving ( I have savings for the 1st time in my life :j )
I just think If I couldn't go it O/S I would have to curl up and die :A I have lived through years of new style and the depression that went with it. I still get the odd down days , but nothing like it was before, where I would sit on my butt in front of the telly all day everyday and moan and shout cos I had no money, O.K I still have very little money , but it goes a hell of a lot further these days. .
Now I get up and start preparing dinner, what happened there, dinner was usually something I only ever thought about when my eldest was moaning coz she was hungry or dp walked through the door after work.
I still can't believe what a mess I was.
So My answer is I couldn't not live O/S it would kill me!Saving for the future of the earth0 -
It would have to be the breadmaker & HM Pizzas. OH can't live without them now, and really enjoys making and eating them.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I've always been a little old style, being here though has made me feel more normal and not on the outside of society anymore. The one thing I would keep is my baking. It's always been a disaster before and I thought it was me, now I've straightened my cooker and learned it's funny ways I feel much more confident and am always baking when I have a spare minute.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
