I booked the Tanit 2 Weeks ago for departure on 13th August next.
Got a free child place so made a very good value AI Holiday for me and my two (8 and 7).
I can't wait now, will report back to you on this thread.0 -
Well, been back a week now and everything washed and put away.
The Tanit, We had a great time there for a week but I think I would have been bored for 2 weeks.
Highs - The Rooms are fab, roomy, clean, comfortable. Pools, especially the Adult only area. Value for money,
Mediums - Pool area very crowded.
Lows - Food, generally a bit bland, queues for fresh grilled stuff, not enough drinks machines especially at Breakfast and for a country that grows Citrus fruits by the billion serving plastic juice is criminal. The 'snack bar' is appalling - they just serve burgers, chicken in sauce, chips in a buffet under the canopy between Lunch and Dinner. The Entertainment is a bit gash too - the Michael Jackson tribute was laughably poor and the Room it takes place in is impossible to get a good view unless you get in at 7.30 as there are pillars all over the place blocking your view. Kids club is poor too, supposed to be Little and Superstars clubs but my 8 year old ended up doing the same as the 3 year olds, the kids club also charge for Parties €5 -they don't provide drinks! (at an all inclusive Hotel!) and also for Cooking Sessions - I paid €7 each for mine to go in, the money is supposed to buy the ingredients. They came back with 2 Cornflake Cakes, a Fruit Kebab and a Sponge Slice decorated with Chocolate and Haribo's.
Maybe I am being harsh but I am only comparing the Tanit with The Holiday Village Viva in Ca'n Picafort I went to last year.0
