BLINDING OFFER FROM O2 (it even beats 3)

for all of O2's 3G phone's (bar the XDA exec) and Imode phones the deal is

1) 1000 Xnet anytime + 150 texts for £35 per month (permanent not special offer)

2) 750 Xnet anytime + 750 texts for £35 per month (permanent not special offer)

But what is most amazing is the mistake O2 have made by also allowing the brand new (released yesterday) XDA EXEC PDA phone for £140 on this deal. This morning it was available on the web site with this deal and now it is not, but I just managed to order one over the phone !!! so be quick.
For those of you not interested in top of the range business phones there are other phones available free of charge.

The down side is its an 18 month contract but a damn good deal

And here are the Imode phones

The nokia is now sold out (until further notice) I have changed the 1st link to reflect the samsung but look for yourself there are other free phones available.

Yeah - these i-mode tariffs are allegedly a limited period special offer and so far I have only seen them in O2 shops - a shame as with a good cashback deal (like the 12 months free line rental you can get on O2 30 quid tariff) they would be something special :-)
    I think....

    £35 x 18 = £630 cost for the 18 months.

You can get a deal on 3 for under £150 with cashback for the same period with the likes of onestopphoneshop or e2save.

    I am getting 18 months of 500 mins / 100 texts for a total of £120 (£540 less £90 network 6 months half price less £330 cashback) from e2save.com

I would NEVER get a contract from an online mobile company again (except the ones run directly by the service providers, ie/ 02, orange, voda etc...) every time I have got one (3 times) they have always screwed me over. They will do absolutely anything to their commisions (yes I know most sales people will) but you should be VERY carefull with these online mobile sites!

  • How do these 3G phones differ from the normal ones? After a phone with a lot of Xnet anytime minutes and this fits the bill well, DON'T want 3 due to reception issues in my area, will I have the same problem with this? Also can the sim be used in other phones?
2p off is still 2p off!

actually the top link I provide IS a 3g phone as is the Samsung z500i z320i XDA exec and the soon to be released sony ericcson 6??? the imode phones are also included in this deal as per my second link

END OF STORY 3 IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THIS

    18 months @ £35 = £630

the best 3 can offer for 1000 Xnet minutes + 150 texts is

    6 months @ £30 = 180 (half price for 6 months special offer)

    +

    12 months @ £60 = 720

    T O T A L = £ 900

PS its only fair to compare like for like deal and I am comparing against the 3 1000 min + 150 txt deal
