ISA Interest Rates

Hi All,
My wife and I have an investment with Abbey, some held in Shares, our max allowances in ISA's and the rest in cash. My question really is about the interest on ISA's. If they are Shares ISA's and the stock market falls do we still get the interest rate quoted or do we only get what the shares make in dividends. I think we get the interest anyway, but my wife is not sure.
With all the uncertainty in the Stock Market and the need to use some of the money son would we be better taking it out of shares as soon as possible?
Any advice would be appreciatted

There is no interest rate with shares. Its all on the market.
Do you know which shares you have? Usually you should be able to log onto online banking and it should show you (with most banks), if not you can always google to find the latest share price.
Cashing them in, well it really depends if you really need the money, if you do then I suppose theres nothing else you can do, but leaving them would more likely be the best option.
As I said before, what shares do you have in the ISA?0
