VM Broadband no phone thru Quidco- Save ££

If I cancelled BT saving £11.50 pm got Virgin Media thru Quidco £100 Cashback setup a virtual phone line through the Internet using VOIPDiscount - Free calls. If I got the £30 online discount

VM £9 pm / 12 months £108
- £30 online Discount - £100 Quidco I'm up £22 with free calls?

I could be wrong, but I think the £100 cashback is only paid on 'bundles'. Broadband alone wouldn't be eligible.

I did think maybe it was too good to be true, I've e-mailed Quidco to confirm this

I ordered Virgin Broadband 'L' (internet only not phone/TV) and the £100 has tracked for me.

do they really mean without a phone line? How does that work? I dont have BT in my house and dont live in a cable area. Can i still get?

cheers, i did a bit of research and found a different deal with carphone warehouse which I went for instead (inc cashback). I think I might have been a bit cheaper with virgin but i got a laptop with the CPW one which will be DD's birthday sorted (If it arrives)

No.

To get Virgin Media Cable Broadband only you need to live in a cable area.

You need to be in a cable area.

Cable broadband doesn't work over a phone line like ADSL, it comes into you home through the same co-ax as the TV service (which you don't have to have).

I was broadband and TV only for a couple of years only now have the phone line due to a deal which would have been crazy to refuse.
