Brooker Dave, I appreciate your help, but I am going to wait until the ban is up. To be honest, I'm 17, so I'm not actually old enough to have an account at the moment, so by the time I'm 18 (Well 7 months after I'm 18), I can have an eBay account that is fully legit.

I don't want to risk being banned for life. eBay is a great place (Except the fees), so I'll wait it out and spend the next year saving money instead of spending it on eBay.

I know this is going to sound like a really silly & thick question, but here goes... if I have two ebay accounts can I not link them to one paypal account??? or do i need to have to paypal accounts for each ebay account???

I thought that if you had more than one ebay account linked to a single ebay account and one of your accounts got banned then they banned them all by using the paypal linking to identify you as the same person. Or has this changed?

There are lots of things that can link your ebay accounts together... and you're not allowed to trade while suspended anyway.

I thought I'd give an update on this. I've been in Australia for a few weeks and came back yesterday to receive an email from eBay that informed me that my account had been reinstated.

I'm glad I decided not to create a new account and wait out the suspension, as it lasted 2 weeks and not 1 year.
