Another vote here for Heinz baked beans. My other insistence is that my coffee has no chicory in it - revolting.

Oops children have just pointed out that I'm fussy about butter - if I can't afford completely unsalted, it has to be 'slightly salted' - none of that bright yellow Anchor stuff for me.

Football! I couldn't go without it, although I am cutting down.

Also, diet coke, only proper coca cola will do.

I'm fussy about bread and cheese. Most other things I'll buy value, but I will only do fresh wholegrain bread, and certain cheeses.

My husband is really fussy about milk.

Heinz baked beans - yum yum

Mine's got to be this one too! Also crunchy nut cornflakes! I don't mind scrimping on some things but food is my small luxury and i don't see why i should eat food i don't like just because its cheap. I don't buy expensive food and a lot of it is cheaper versions, but i like some brand names, makes me feel better.

And lets be honest, a lot of the cheaper food is full of rubbish like [more] chemicals, colourings etc. so by buying the better brand you get better quality and have better health, so will save in the long term health stakes.

That's how I look at it anyway ;)

It might sound really boring, but the one area I refuse to scrimp on is tyres for the car.... I tried cheap ones once and they nearly killed me when I hit some standing water on the motorway, so never again.....

Doesn't mean I won't hunt around for the best price though... and then haggle some....:money:
