A bit late I know, but I only just got to my computer!
The Sunday Mirror was doing a free CD of Winnie The Pooh stories, performed by Stephen Fry, Dame Judi Dench, Michael Williams, Jane Horrocks and Geoffrey Palmer - it was the first of a set of 7, the remaining discs to be redeemed each day at Asda or by post later (£2.99 p&p)
I listened to the first one and I think I'll actually try to get the rest - the stories are nicely done; rather than the usual audiobook one reader style, there are narrators and different actrs voicing the different characters! Great fun for kids of most ages!
    Au Res.,

Thanks Paul. I must have missed this today. Was the audio book actually inside the newspaper or was it one of the token redemption offers?

I will phone the newspaper tomorrow and attempt to blag a free copy.

Best of luck - I know somebody who did something similar and customer service asked what headline was on a certain page of the newspaper in question

A bit late I'm sorry to say but I only found out about it today.
Sadly this started Saturday 11th August & each voucher should be redeemed on day of issue.

However you can send away for them - you need all 6 vouchers - Sat & Mon to Fri - address to be published later - cost of £2.50 (P&P)

Maybe you can source a few papers from friends, relatives or the recycling bin if you want to take this offer up.

Alternatively you may find a friendly Martin / McColl newsagent that still has the DVDs available and doesn't care about the "day of redemption" stipulation

Murphy's War (1971, IMdB 6.8) - The Mail On Sunday
    Directed by Peter Yates (Bullitt)
    Starring Peter O'Toole

    u08591a9ief.jpg
This trifle has hints of The African Queen, with Peter O'Toole as a manic Irish seaman who teams up with a Quaker missionary (O'Toole's then wife, Sian Phillips) and a French oil engineer (convincingly played by Philippe Noiret) to sink a German U-boat on the Orinoco delta. Shot in the jungles of Venezuela, the film's blend of whimsy and battle is skilfully handled by director Peter Yates, who was riding high at the time on the success of Bullitt

  • Free HAPPY MONDAYS Greatest Hits CD with the Daily Star on Sunday.

Includes all their big hits like "Kinky Afro" and "Step On". They were massive in the early 1990's before Oasis came along and stole their crown.

Also, in the Sunday Express it's Part 2 of PETULA CLARK - THE GREATEST HITS LIVE IN CONCERT recorded in Paris 2003. Got the first one last week but it was a bit disappointing.

Looking forward to "MURPHY'S WAR", thanks white_were_wolf :T
