Does that mean you have to buy a copy of the DM every day for each disc?

EDIT: Yes. Or 4 tokens and a £6 cheque
  • Sad news which is related to this topic in a way. I first brought this up about a year ago but the problem seems to be getting worse.

I often purchase a lot of free newspaper DVD/CDs on e-bay (like next week's Attenborough wildlife series) as I don't live near a Tesco, ASDA or WH Smith and find it too much hassle travelling to the nearest big town every day to buy the paper and get the disc.

So e-bay sellers who have the whole set at a reasonable price, usually £4 or £5 are a godsend. But it seems more and more of these sellers who specialise in newspaper freebies are having their e-bay accounts suspended.

I know the discs say "for promotional use only, not for resale" but surely its ridiculous if these e-bay sellers are all having their accounts shut down for this reason.

So how could be behind this, the newspapers perhaps?

    Anyone else found the same?

I often pick them up on ebay too (usually because I forgot to get the paper in time though...). But I hadn't noticed the listings disappearing? There's 184 listings here at the moment:-
link to newspaper dvd's on ebay

Maybe they are just stopping people who buy lots of papers and immediately list a batch of identical dvd's for sale, and the genuine 'used' sellers are ok?

Can't find tracklisting on line, but there were quite a few well known hits. Looks like a live CD rather than studio tracks.

  • I've managed to get 3 of the DVDs in the shop (3, 4 & 5) so annoyingly will need to send off 4 tokens & a cheque (unless anyone can oblige of course). However I didn't get a paper yesterday so don't have the address to send cheque off too - can anyone help? I've got 4 tokens but didn't realise the address was printed yesterday - d'oh!

    Thanks,
