I wonder if any of the major newspapers will be releasing some of Norman Wisdom's movies as a tribute to the great man at some point in the future. Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to purchase the rights as they are all old B/W movies.

I believe he is very popular in both Albania and North Korea where he is seen as a revolutionary-always being exploited by and yet seeking to subvert capitalism.I find him banal and irritating-a poor man's Chaplin.Mind you he is better than that prat Jerry Lewis who was with old soak DM in so many comedies0 -
