It seems they give the impression of being able to give you what you ordered - but frequently DON'T!!
The lucky customers are few & far between.
Consider this, before parting with £$£$ to them!

I've got someone coming from Kitchens Direct on Saturday to have a look at the kitchen and give me a quote. I've heard mixed reports about them though. It seems the good reports are excellent and the bad reports were a nightmare.
Did the £1800 include fitting or was it just for the units and appliances?0 -
Is this the same company that shoves flyers through your letter box with no contact address, just a phone number?"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

we put in an Ikea kitchen about six months ago. Cost us just under 2k for units to fill kitchen 14x15'. Really pleased with it. Good service, easy to fit and looks smashing.
Had to buy appliances and worktops on top of this. Would definately recommend their kitchens.0 -

I had a new kitchen in April 2004 from Ikea. I used the online planner and am very pleased with it. One thing about Ikea kitchens though is that they go right back to the wall which makes them bigger than the other kitchen cabinets but on the wall where my sink and cooker are I had to have all the pipework dropped down to run under them. To save money we put the cupboards together ourselves (not too difficult once you've done one) and employed a carpenter to fix them to the walls and put on the worktop.
Hope this helps you decide.

I’ve recently renovated my kitchen and found Arena Kitchens to be the cheapest and best quality I could find by far. They sell a few of the same kitchens as John Lewis, but they’re cheaper by miles. I’m really delighted at the finished result – Arena’s team of designers came up with some great design ideas and storage solutions. Ikea may be cheap, but their kitchens are poor quality and don’t last. Have a look at their site… i was really impressed!

Hope that’s of use!0 -
