Multiple SIM Cards for sale : legitimate cards?

I didn't know where to ask this question, if it turns out to be in the wrong forum please let me know and I'll start it again in the ebay forum. I was split between the ebay forum and the mobile phone forum but I put it here as I thought this is where people would know about mobile phone SIM Cards.

I've noticed for sale on ebay sellers auctioning/selling SIM Cards in multiples i.e. in packs of 10 P-A-Y-G SIM Cards for around £2. The sellers seem to be very trustworthy with some having thousands of feedback, but are packs of 10 SIM cards for £2 really legitimate SIM Cards or are they cheap imports or do they have something else not quite right about them... or are they really simply legitimate bargains?

  • They are no doubt bundles of genuine O2 online PAYG sim cards, which O2 are handing out like topsy ,week in week out ,for free.

I assume that would that be the same not just for O2 but for all mobile phone comanies, yes?

I'm with T-Mobile but have never seen them giving away free SIMs.

However, I sent for 2 O2 free SIMs from the link on MSE and they arrived no problem. I have also unlocked my old T-Mobile Nokia (thanks to MSE!) and they work just fine.

No such thing as cheap imports, as other countries have different networks. It depends what you mean by bargains. Sellers have been seen to complain that there are too many about nowadays to make money by reselling their free ones (all networks have given them away).

Other networks dont give them away in such quantity so many times. They are more sparing in their offers. ;)
