Nokia 3100 won't charge anymore
My Nokia 3100 will not charge.I bought a new battery but it still will not charge as the bars at the side of the screen show no indication like it used to.
I have tested the charger on another phone and it works ok so can anyone shed any light on what it may be and how to fix it?

guess it's the contacts within the phone, maybe check their is nothing inside the hole where the charger goes, clean it with some white spirit or something0

Is it definitely the charger that came with the phone ? I have a pile of Nokia chargers here that all superficially look identical - but at least one of them doesn't charge my 6021 properly, when the one that came with it does 100%There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
could be the charging point or fuse inside the phone but more likely a chip fault as ive seen a few like this lately. get it fixed at nokia repair center free under warrenty as if you open it up and they find out you will lose the warrenty0

I have no warrenty as it was kindly given to me by a friend.Couldn't I get a cheeper model from Ebay or something and charge the battery up in that model to use in the 3100?0

this model hasnt been out long so you should be ok0 -

note that if its found to be liquid damaged or customer damaged it wont be covered0
