Tesco refusing internet coupons.

I used several coupons tonight but the checkout operator(she is normally brilliant at taking coupons)said she couldn't take the internet printed coupons.

Do Tesco take any coupons even when you do not buy the product I have 50P off Sunday Telegraph coupons, but buy the Mail on Sunday, would I be able to get the money off that instead. Also is it the same at Tesco Metro & Tesco Express

Hi Millie, general Tesco policy has been to take coupons even if you don't buy the product providing they stock it.
I've had no problem with my local Tesco taking newspaper vouchers for the day concerned even if I don't buy a paper. Other printable coupons are available from Homesolutions and Mumplusone. There appears to be local discretion operating although up to now most tesco's do and a fair number of Asda's. Good luck!

I am not sure where I had them from I think they came from a magazine had them lyiing around for a few weeks, but they are dated, one each Sunday for 12 weeks starting today. I will try using them next week to buy The mail on Sunday from Tesco

We have normally had no trouble with any vouchers/coupons at tesco. Online or in store.

We find that they only refuse about 1 in 10, which is not bad if you ask me

Today Tesco has refused to accept any vouchers whatsoever, even proper ones like Pampas, not Internet. They say it is a change in policy. Has anyone else found this? Could it just be the individual shop?

I'm going to Tesco today, was planning to use vouchers... fingers crossed!

The checkout person said it was a new Tesco policy. Hope it is just the shop though.

Exactly the same happened to me today. She gave me them back and told me it was a change in policy.
