What is Majorca like mid April? Just found a cracking holiday for 1 week and am tempted to book up. Not expecting red hot sunshine but would be grateful for anyones experiences. Will there be much going on in the resort do you think??
Also cost for a transfer to cala bona would be great!

Went there a couple of years ago in mid-March - a bit windy, but sunnier and warmer than UK at the time. Most of the resort was open and a bigger one, Cala Millor was only 15-20 mins (very flat) walk.0

Hi - a few yars ago we went the last week of April and it was lovely thro' the day (even got on the beach) but cold at night. We were lucky and didn't get any rain but this year it would have been a different story. If it's such a bargain I'd risk it."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

We went at the start of April this year. Weather was v pleasant, the resort was just 'waking up' - some places were open, others were busy getting the place ready to re-open. We hired a car, and roads were empty, really easy to get around. Would definitely go again. We also hired bikes for a day, and as it's so flat and wasn't too hot, it was really easy to cycle along the coast.0

well I think it is a bargain - flights and SC accom £543 (2 ad 2 ch) for one week in easter school holidays going on 12th and coming back 20th - 8 days (one day bank holiday) . Staying at the Bonaire...... Just transfers to add
Is this a bargain????

Transfers - we only went for 5 days, but car hire was only £30, so worked out much cheaper than transfers for 4 of us (used Holiday Autos, also got quidco cashback). We booked flights with Ryan Air (£80 for 4 of us incl taxes, departed Easter Monday this year), and accommodation at the Bonaire was only £92 so total was only £200 incl car hire. Think that was a one-off though - we flew from Stansted and most schools in the South East seemed to have different holidays this year. Would love to do it again.0

unfotunately ryanair don't fly to palma from Ncle or Teeside. Flights are with jet 2 and I don't think Easy Jet will beat their prices......
will check out Holiday Autos thanks!0 -
Have been twice in past April's and had mixed weather. Some days was bikini weather, other days were cooler but ok wandering round in shorts and t-shirts, other days were a lot cooler with some rain. It's the luck of the draw I'm afraid.
The pools and the sea were cold as the sun hadn't warmed them up. I think I managed to get my ankles wet and that was it
The evenings and nights are cold though, so you'll need to take trousers and jumpers or jackets if you are going out for evening meals and drinks, and be prepared to sit inside. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Hi, not sure what to do as Easy Jet flights won't come out until around November for Easter. My flights with Jet 2 are around £100 per person return (with taxes). From your experience is it worth my waiting for easy jet to release prices or do you think they will not be any cheaper than this during school hols to palma.......
