Samsung F480 Tocco (Clearance) - O2 400 - 12 month contract
Am on the look out for a cheap mobile deal for the missus, reasonable amount of minutes/texts included / high end mobile for the minimum outlay over a 12 month term.
I've seen this deal today, it seems more than reasonable but would appreciate any other views:-
This deal is at Phones4u and is on the £35 (O2 400) tariff on a 12 month contract. It comes with 7 months free line rental by redemption, meaning a net outlay over the 12 months of £175.
However, once you include the £60 quidco money on offer, the net price for the year comes down to £115 or £9.58 per month.
Thinking through some of the obvious downsides about this deal:-
(i) yes, it's a clearance phone. However surely if you don't like the condition upon arrival, you can just send it back for a full refund.
(ii) yes, it's a cashback deal and they're not for everyone. However, I've done a few of these now without any problems.
(iii) no, it's not an iphone 3g - however it's a more than passable imitation and just a little cheaper along the way.
Any other views or comments greatly appreciated.
Regards Pete
