  • Sorry to hear your day hasn't gone so well, earth. If you want to tell us about it you'll always find a listening ear, and if you don't want to go into detail have a ((hug)) anyway.

problem is, once I get started it would be hard to stop!!:o
i have had problems with someone who claimed to be a friend and i have just realised how much I have been bullied by her! How sad does that make me! I have always had problems making friends and now i feel like not bothering at all.
trying to live in the moment but chained to the past and scared of the future!

Not very sad at all. A lot of people we class as "friends" aren't really when we take a step back and think about it.

A lot of people just take and when it's their turn to give back they're nowhere to be seen. Having been emotionally bullied by your friend doesn't make you sad, it just makes you too nice, and too tolerant. Now you've realised it though, I'm sure you'll be more careful in future, and watch for the same patterns.

And to be fair, someone who bullies someone under pretense of being their friend... That's the real sad person. They can only get "friends" by manipulating trusting people?
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
  • I had a husband a bit like that.

That's not a problem for us: it's up to you how much you want to share. I've sometimes made really long posts to internet fora then deleted most of them in case anyone who knows me or other people involved might recognise some of the details... but it's still quite therapeutic I find. Similarly, I've heard of people writing down their thoughts on paper then destroying it, and feeling better afterwards.

    Morning all,

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days. I have been trying to keep myself busy so that I am physically tired enough to fall asleep at a normal time. So far it is working, and the garden is coming along greatly!!!!!

The other side effect of all the hard work (well there is two actually) is that it takes my mind off the depression and I have also lost weight. In two months I have lost over 1 stone and dropped nearly two clothes sizes!

The downside is I ache all over and my hands hurt. ALso although it takes my mind off my problems, this also means I am not dealing with them and I am worried that when all the work is finished they will come back with a vengeance.

Next week I am off to OU summer school so am looking forward to my break but also worried about being able to sleep whilst I am there. No chance of catching up with an afternoon nap as the schedule is so full.

    KL.
