Hi there,

I am a real novice when it comes to techno jargon:
I need a landline phone, and broadband for my home. (At the moment I only have a mobile).
I need to be able to do Internet research for about ten hours a month..

So who do I contact for the best deals?

If you can get cable (NTL, Telewest) it might be worth having a look on their website, cos they usually offer cheap packages for landline phone/broadband/tv, if not then best option is probably to sign up for BT Option 1 (£10.50 per month by Direct Debit), use call18866 to make your calls (https://www.call188166.co.uk) and use someone like metronet (https://www.metronet.co.uk) for the broadband.
