My partner and I have just moved into our first flat together *Woop!*, and we have found that we still have the previous tenants virgin media cable service (TV/Phone/Internet) and i was wondering whether or not we would just be able to ring them up and change it over without having to pay any massive charges!?! is this at all possible?
or are we stuck paying a charge (or moving supplier) or having no television due to there being no analogue aerial socket and we dont get reception with a booster!
Any help would be most appreciated!

Your be able to choose any of their special offers see: http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/specialoffers/index.html
or their normal bundles.Your have to agree to a 12 month contract, and they will probaly want a £30 connection charge.0 -
I have been with VM (previously ntl) for about 8 years. They will be VERY keen to keep the address as a VM customer. IME they are open to 'negotiation' so don't take the first offer. At the very least they should do you a free connection! Whatever offer is made be sure to take the name of the person you speak to and a note of the time/date of the conversation.
Touchwood, I have had great service for 8 years with no problems at all and the V+ facility is very good (upgraded for free for me).0 -
Thanks for the advice guys, i'll ring them and definately try to haggle for the free connection charge!
I'll phone them later on today and try to get me a good package! I'll post my results when all is sorted!
