My Tiscali Offer (free £125 from BT)

Weel, the story is I rang up tiscali to ask some general questions. The guy on the phone then offered me free phone line installation from BT and the package with anytime calls with unlimited 8MB broadband for 19.99/month. but all this with £30 connection fee. It just sounds sooooooo good. But I know there is a catch some where:rolleyes:! So Any Ideas?

The catch is you will probably be on Tiscalis equipment in the exchange but when you go back to BT equipment it will cost you £125

Well, I haven't got a phone line installed yet at my place. Not from BT anyway.. So I'm not losing anything?

You need an existing BT line to take the package.Tiscali could provide a line but choose not to as they would rather cherry pick Bt,s customers.If you took out a BT line you would have to pay any connection charge that may be due,plus a £70 cancellation fee to move to Tiscali.

Your Tiscali line won't work properly. See my other posts about my experience with them, or get in touch if you want further details.

They make it look like a good deal, but when you need to use your mobile the whole time and they disconnect your broadband for no reason, you won't feel the same!
