I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I'm really pleased with it! :T

Why not try a reinstall on your existing laptopto get it back to its previous perfromance?

My old one has only got 512mb of ram and I tend to run a few big programmes at a time.

Comet haven't got it in stock anywhere near me for collection or delivery. This place said they would do it for £310 plus a free gift. Think I will ring them tomorrow and order it

I'd still rather try to give it a good clean and get rid of any unnecessary programs (if any) before buying a new one. Check your start up programs as well and delete any you don't need. If you know this already just ignore what I said... Will getting more RAM instead not be easier and cheaper?

Buying more RAM is a lot cheaper than buying a new laptop.

That's odd - it works for me! It's this one anyway from laptopsdirect - £375
    Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 with 2GB RAM - BUN/TY2BWUK/1232
  • I bought my laptop from laptopsdirect and had a really good deal. They have lots of really good spec laptops around £300. Sometimes they have offers on for £250-280.
