At Natwest they would have 2 people emptying the pay in box, and both would have to count the number of envelopes and sign for them.0

It is up to Barclays to decide whether to bring in the police or not.doodledoodle24 wrote: »Hi, just to let you all know barclays checked cctv, proved i put an envelope in, and have credited me with my £490 plus the £90 they have charged me.

You have been refunded your charges and the cash has been credited to your account.
It is now an internal matter whether Barclays instigate disciplinary action against their staff or to get an engineer in to thoroughly inspect the mechanism of the box in case the envelope is still in there somewhere!0 -

In HSBC-the new concept branches have facilities that actually count your notes and credit your account instantly, saving on envelopes, trees, and time...no need to wait for the funds to credit-same with cheques, they have facilities that you can pay a cheque in and get a photocopy immediatly showing a shrunk down version of the paying in slip and the cheque-no need to queue and no hassle!! Genius!!Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
