I dont think this has been reported on this thread but I cannot set up a new alert and I get a "run time error" message after clicking on the orange tart alert box.

I just tried the link and it works for me. Want to try again?
  • Ive got another idea which can be used just as well as this one.

Most people have mobile phones now - I don't know many people who have a credit card and don't have one.

I discovered the function 'reminders' and I use this all the time. It's even good for jotting down phone numbers etc.

Simple. Set yourself a reminder on the phone for 6 weeks before the end of your 0% credit deal and bobs yer uncle. Please though remember if you get a new phone or sim card then it will be lost.

Alternativley, if your running MS Outlook then set yourself 'an appointmnet' and check the reminder box well in advance.

It wouldn't really hurt to do all three of these just in case the only one you do set fails.

Don't do what I did once and leave it too late!!!!!!

I received a tart alert the other day. Will set another one and hope for the best!

Will also set one on my phone thanks to the last post just incase the tart alert does not work.

could you use this for example to remind you to cancel a magazine subscription?
  • My daughter is at present abroad and her 0% Virgin Card expires in December. Amount owing about £3300. Do I understand from your News Letter under the heading of "The Tart Solution - for active system players"

that provided she reapplies 6 weeks before expiry of the card (December) she can continue with 0% interest on this card? Would you please confirm that no transfer fee of £50 would be charged to reapply?

If not, could you please advise which cards will provide 0% interest for maximum period without any transfer fee with a different provider.

    Many thanks for your help.
