They phoned me about an hour ago and have just sent me this email

I’m sending you this email as a follow-up to our telephone conversation regarding the BT Websms service.

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the fact that you were unable to receive the level of service that you was expecting from BT.

I can now tell you that the BT Web2SMS service is now working fine after a technical fault. Our technical team will be monitoring the platform over the weekend to ensure that there isn’t a further loss of service.

I have also asked that our advisors are briefed on the product so they can offer customers advice if necessary.

Hmmm, FWIW I've just tried using this service for the first time in several months. It's been about an hour now since I sent them, but my messages are showing as "partial success" and have not been delivered.....

Update: the messages did finally arrive about 18 hours later - not very satisfactory since this service used to be able to manage delivery in a few seconds.
