I reckon they paid up by the OP has been banned from publicising it
I remember that thread - quite an epic if I remember rightly!
I do hope it's good news but can't help thinking something went wrong. If the result couldn't be publicised, I'd've expected a post saying "sorry every one but I can't give out any details, etc, etc ...".Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***

I do hope it's good news but can't help thinking something went wrong. If the result couldn't be publicised, I'd've expected a post saying "sorry every one but I can't give out any details, etc, etc ...".
But, in the case of the 'epic' thread (IIRC), it was quite some time after the case that the OP posted to say (more or less) 'I can't say nuffink about the case, but don't worry about me, I'm quite happy'.
Personally (I must be in Pollyanna mode tonight) I think it would be more likely that the OP would post if it all went wrong. If they had nothing to lose, what's to stop them posting to say 'I can't post anything because I'm just so devastated'?
If they'd won, and maybe got some compensation, but a condition of the settlement was that they weren't allowed to talk about it - anywhere, no matter how veiled they tried to make it - you can understand why they'd not post again.
Well, that's my hope anyway - that 'No news is good news'.
(BTW - don't take any of the above as a hint, or a hidden message!!!! It is quite simply my thoughts. And those thoughts could be totally wrong - not for the first time, alas!)0 -

Sorry about the delay! Have dislocated my shoulder which has hampered my typing.Long story short, I won and the company was ordered to pay my costs and compensate me for the money that I had spent to prove I had never ordered the !!!!!! channel. In court the company made an unreserved apology for the distress that they had caused me, and the embarrassment of linking me with this channel. Happy days!!!!!!!!!!LBM £18463.32 in debt 10th June 2008,£12470.99 in debt 10th June 2009.:jTime flies like an arrow.

Thats great news, well done you!
Perhaps you could tell us a bit more when you have recovered - like did anyone from the company attend & what did the judge make of the horrible comments the staff member made about you?
But really, WAY TO GO!:jSOA = Statement of Affairs (to find a SOA Calculator, google 'make sense of cards' & click on calculators tab > Statement of Affairs)0
