DCA have messed up! I'm taking them to small claims, they are fully defending it

Perhaps NUF!!!!ter has been "banged up". It appears she/he owed money, looking at her/his opener? Would anyone seriously expect to be let off from debt, because someone had used bad language about them on the phone?

If you actually looked at the whole thread and history you would see Nufcnutter was actually disputing the alleged debt and has evidence to prove it was not theirs in the first place. The DCA couldn't prove the debt was the OP's simply because it didn't belong to them. The DCA employee then verbally abused the OP even although it did not appear to be intentional it was still offensive.

Now companies are ultimately responsible for the actions of their employees while carrying out company business so why should the company not be punished??

Lilac, I thought I had followed the whole thread, but reading your mail I accept that I may have got it wrong. Also, looking at your reply, I am a puzzled about what you are saying! If it is, that NUFCutter has no debt, and is sueing for defamation of character, I am willing to say, "Right on Girl/Boy!)
However, if I owed you money, and when you asked for it, I told you to "Eff off", you wouldn't surely think that would cancell your debt?

Hiya Dave! It's a while since I read the whole thread (been following it for months) but I think, might be wrong, that the court case wasn't so much about the debt itself but about NUFC sueing the debt co for the time & effort that has been necessary to prove the debt wasn't hers in the first place. I don't think she's expecting the debt to be cancelled on the basis of being told to eff off, but rather is trying to prove a point and hopefully get the debt cancelled in the meantime. The eff-off will only help her case by proving that the DCA are a bunch of incompetent, incoherent morons.

And HOPEFULLY NUFC WILL BE AROUND VERY SOON TO LET US ALL KNOW HOW IT WENT!!!:rotfl:

Did anyone else read that thread with the guy who had some hilarious conversations with a DCA and finally ended up charging THEM for wasting his time? He wasn't allowed to post details of the final outcome but I got the impression they paid up. I'm thinking the same thing has happened here ... I reckon they paid up by the OP has been banned from publicising it :rolleyes:
