So if I get two £10 deals would the offer still work for the free chopping board seeing as I've got two chickens?

Yes, 2 Ready to roast turkeys with the deal will give you a carving board - bonus.

Well pleased with my £10 meal. Large Oakham Chicken £10.27! serves 5, sticky toffee pudding which would easily serve 4, roasts and frascati. Chicken and pud in the freezer to feed in laws who are staying next weekend:eek: .

Back off to M&S this afternoon with my £5 direct line voucher to get another deal.

SA on tills said the offer is going to be on every other weekend but not during December.

    S LOWER CASE OMEGA;6.59 so far ..
  • Went to my local M&S today and they had run out of puds. So they charged full price for the wine, main and side, then knocked you a fiver off. Bit of a rubbish deal really. Mine came to £18.96 for two packs of sea bass, two bottles of wine some carrots and mash.

If the had of had the puds in it would only have cost me £1.04 more for two puds.

If I hadn't of had the direct line voucher I wouldn't have bothered. Their stuff if mega overpriced

In that case you should have waited until next week when various items will be half price. ;)
  • Im VERY tempted to go for this deal, i have a £5 m&s voucher, I could never afford the whole £10. How large is the chicken? Would it do 2 dinners? (say 1 roast and a curry?) Bearing in mind my oh has an enormous appetite:eek:
    'They only had one cow!'
  • Went to the trafford centre branch today - well stocked (all items available) and staff were restocking constantly although there didn't seem to be a lot of wine!

Got the sea bass (over £6).

Also at the till - free bag for life.

I reckon it would if there were 2 of you but who am I to say lol

I was gonna go for the whole chicken but it seemed so boring, so we went for the chicken breast in sauce instead.

I went in to the little M&S simply food shop in Manchester piccadilly, like someone just said, staff were constantly refilling the shelves and the only thing that seemed to be running out was that hot chocolate fudge pudding.. I got one of the last 2, but maybe they had more in the back, who knows!

Hi, just to say that in this deal they are including medium and large Oakham chickens - the largest 'large' ones are about 2.2 - 2.3 kilos, or roughly 5lb in weight. How many it feeds does depend how hungry or what sort of appetite you have (!) - but the largest one really should do a roast meal for 2, then another meal for 2 (curry/pie/cold), plus enough on the carcasse to make a soup. You can always make some stuffing to make it go further, and they are lovely chickens, very rich in flavour, so you may not need to eat so much...only thing is, you need to be there when they open to get the best choice. hth, and hope you enjoy! ss
