  • By the time I finish work theres never any of this deal left, so now I've started using the M&S collect by car service. It means its kept in the fridge all day & I just go to the collection point to pick it up after work. I don't have a car but anyone can use this service. Might help you out if youre struggling to get stuff like I did.

Is this only in certain stores? I've looked in the Edinburgh store twice when it's been on and there's been nothing there to even make me think this was going on.

Don'y know about Princes St, but in the Fort M&S the offer foods are usually stacked up on the end section of the stands opposite the flowers.

  • Just went to my local M&S in Ipswich and they had loads of stock:p.
When I went to the self service till, there was a lovely member of staff who said I could have a free bag for life today also! Then he talked to me saying this promotion is to get people to buy m&s food normally and not just as a treat (like me). He then said all through summer they should be doing these deals its 2 to dine for £10 this week then half price on lots of food next, and this will continue all summer.:j
He was very helpful, be warned though if you use self check out you can only pay by card, they have to come and allow your first bottle of wine (to ensure your over 21, I'm 29 and he wasn't sure with me, boost my ego!:D) and if you use a bag for life for free they have to put a code in for that too.
I brought the Roast chicken, New herbed potatoes and sticky toffee pudding with the rose chardoney. Also the Lamb moussaka, with new herbed potatoes, and the hot choc fudge with a white dry wine.
We don't drink wine so am going to give the bottles as Christmas presents!!!
How cool is that two large meals and two Christmas prezzies for £20, should have cost £31.30.:j:j:j
  • I have been and bought on this offer for the first time today, im very impressed. I managed to get the following:
2 chickens priced at 6.34 and 5.52 these were the largest
    1 honey gammon joint 5.49
    2 crunchy salads 2.49 each
    1 new potatoes 1.89
2 sticky toffee puddings 3.49 each
1 hot chocolate fudge pudding 3.49
2 bottles of pinot grigio 4.49 each
    1 bottle of chardonnay 5.99

all for 30.00 should of been 49.66

The chickens, gammon and sticky toffee puddings are already in the freezer, the salads will do my daughters and mine pack lunches for the week and the wine is going away for christmas so im very pleased.

Just phoned the Princes Street store and they said there is still quite a bit there so I'm going to pop up in my lunch hour and get a meal :)
