today i got eveything i wanted- Chicken, salad, and profiterole, and some shiraz :)

    wonderful!
  • We got the meatballs today & I can definitely recommend them - had tonight for dins! Also had the chocolate souffle - basically glorified chocolate mousse & wasn't impressed. We got the potatoes as hubbie didn't fancy any of the other things & they were lovely with some garlic butter melted into them - yum! PS. This was in Redcar - things were being re-stocked while we were looking but no mad dash.

It is a Grabbit because it is a short term offer.

If you don't want to read it, then sod off somewhere else!
I was making a reasonable observation, and there is no need to be rude or use foul language to make a reply.

Had a look at this deal today... am not convinced it's THAT great! You can get some great bottles of wine for £4, or less, if you look around. The chicken seemed to be the best deal on mains but for one that tiny I wouldn't expect to pay £5. Side dishes were silly prices - who would seriously pay £4 for a bowl of lettuce with a couple of cherry tomatoes or £2 for a tiny bag of new potatoes... and puddings we don't tend to buy as I prefer fresh fruit. So all in all probably a false economy for someone like me!

shame the vegetarian choice is very poor - Potato Cakes!
They could have done a veggie quiche, or lasagne......

Yes - ask if you don't drink. They have an alternative of some Belgian chocolate truffles. (Priced £6.99).
