I could only get the price to £292.58 inc VAT and delivery following the instructions posted above.

Do I need to add an additional code to reduce the price further?

    Thanks
Sorry the offer has ended it now comes out in total to £249.00 17.50 % £292.58
    Total Delivery Charge £49.00 17.50 % £57.58
    Total Price £298.00 17.50 % £350.15

However this isn't the same PC as I bought as the memory offer has gone and this is 512MB Dual Channel DDR2 400MHz (2x256) Memory instead of 1024MB Dual Channel DDR2 400MHz (2x512) Memory
The title of the thread should now say CLOSED and you will need to keep your eyes open for the next DELL offer. This is the third I've tried for but the first that looks like it's going to end in my favour. I think the trick is to be very quick. I do wonder if Dell do them deliberately to keep people looking at the site.

Yep Mine arrived yesterday, which is why I've been a little quiet sorting it out. Still haven't moved the stuff from the old to the new yet. I'm well pleased so far. It really is so quiet you can't believe it. The new Hitachi 19 screen came Monday so I'm indebted to the grabbit forum for some good quality kit at keen prices. Hope you get yours without any more hassle.

Got mine yesterday morning - just before 9am!! No problems at all.

I'm using this with an Acer Al1716s 17" TFT Screen (£149.99 instore at Comet). The screen was good value - even better with staff discount and free High Street shopping vouchers! It's got 1280x1024 resolution, 12ms response time, 300cd/m2, 500:1 contrast ratio - even comes in a matching silver and black colour to complement the Dimension 5150! Great picture quality for watching movies ... OK, it doesn't have DVI input, but then the Dell doesn't have DVI output. Decided against a 19" screen, as it wasn't very space-saving and wouldn't have had the same picture sharpness as a 17" (both share the same resolution after all). All this for under £400 ;)

    Thanks OP!!
  • Snap xueta! same TFT screen as well

Its brill machine - I do like the feature on the front and "NO" fan inside at all, whey!

Now all it needs to me is a DVB-T Digital TV card - any good bargins for these?

Mine was dispatched on 14/10...it should be arriving tomorrow. !!!! up by the courier TNT...they've taken it to and unloaded/reloaded it at Worcester, Nuneaton, Leicester, Coventry, back to Nuneaton and it should be winging it's happy way back round the M42 tomorrow morning.
Annoying thing is that I tracked it and reported it a week ago but no human from Dell or Walsh Western has been able to pull it from this seemingly unstoppable electronic chain of bar code scanning before TNT drives it somewhere else....
I'll be surprised if the darn thing isn't DOA
