What do I do?

This is the first time that this has happened to me!

Basically, 10 days ago, I purchased a Playstation 2 game – FIFA Street, using the buy it now option from a seller called 'cutpricegamedeals4u'. Sent two emails to the seller chasing the item, no response, got an envelope this morning containing a picture of the game I purchased. Checking the sellers recent feedback, he has done the same to other people.

Nowhere in the auction had it stated that the item was a picture. I paid by Paypal, so what shall I do next?

How did you fund your paypal payment?

The payment was funded from my Visa Card.

In that case, I would take it up with your card issuer. The seller is no longer registered, so you are highly unlikely to get anything back through ebay/paypal.

It states in the listing that 'this is a printed picture of this game'! (do ctrl + F and type in 'picture'.)

Not that that excuses the ba$tard!!!!!

So what you need to know is how do you stand if they actually tell you that it's a picture in the listing?
Just run, run and keep on running!

What I wonder is whether anyone is going to be able to prove delivery now. ;)

Did you also pull the seller's contact details? There may be a genuine phone number there.
    Can I help?

Doubt it!! I reckon a scammer from the word go!!!

The negative feedbacks are growing for this person.

I've found his details but actually looking at them, some of its been omitted, i.e. house no and street name. Also the postcode looks a bit suspect.

Can't believe I was led to be conned like this, absolutely gutted!!!
