Samsung D600, SE 750i or wait for W800i?
Hi,
Just about to move to 02 from Orange, and waiting for the best deal to come along.
OSPS are currently offering the D600 and SE 750i with 10 months half price. Which one of these is best to go for or is it worth waiting for the E800i offer to improve (currently 7 months half price on 02 200 contract)?
If its worth waiting for the W800i how long before the offers get up to 10 months half price do you reckon?
Cheers

Samsung seem to be teasing us with the 600 - just as they did same time last year.
It appears to be a good fone - deals now coming thru - even Comet have an offer of £4.99 for 12 months via redemption. O2 250 tarif I think.
There's another one along in a minute - just like buses - so hang on just for now!!

My mate just got the SE K750i on Orange and is very pleased with it.. I had the Samsung D500 last year and experienced lots of problems with the handest powering down..After about 3-4 replacements it got sorted.
I personally would stick to Sony Ericsson!0 -
Ive had the d500 for 10 months and no problems whatso ever, good sturdy little phone, yes i have a nokia now 6680 but only for the 500 mins deal that i got.The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

i had the d500 last year and no problems. Good phones.
Now got a K750i and this is far better. camera excellent. The options for everything you may use are better than you can imagine. So user friendly and easy to do anything you want.
Best phone ever4 me.
w800 is ugly i think. i will probably get my phone flashed to the w800 software though.
Both phones are hardware wise the same.
Just flash a k750 and buy a bigger memory

Just get the K750 and get the 512 memory card separately, they are fairly cheap online anyway. I'd steer away from samsungs in general - in this day and age, to not be able to ring and vibrate at the same time is just shameful. The menu system/software in general just aint as good either, or the battery life.0 -
K750i flashed to W800i some do this why

The Samsung d600 look great, but it does have the Orange homescreen on, which is a bit of a bummer.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
why not buy the D600 direct from Orange website?
Currently doing 1/2 price for 6 months on your plan 120 (£25/month) PLUS £50 credit on your first bill PLUS free samsung bluetooth headset.
This works out to be 10 months 1/2 price and without the hassle of cashback redemptions!0
