I see that we the tax payers have given that "prison" at Feltham a new access spur from the A244.

Do you mean the Young Offenders' place?

I don't think even the AIT are going to return a tortured, mad young man and his terrified child bride to Afghanistan. I hope.

I bet you vote Lib Dems NDG, yes?

    snooze---cheap shots from behind a keyboard...easy isn't it.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

I think that is probably the one, it is on the SW side of the road that heads north west towards T4. Has there not been a lot of trouble about self harm in there?

Where do the mentally disturbed Romeo & Juliet couple get warehoused?

Not in Young Offenders! Feltham YOI has a troubled history, for sure - murder as well as self-harming.

He is sectioned, she is with the in-laws.

Indeed - I'm a Tory Councillor, who works for Amnesty International.Still get irritated having to explain that rights are not "owned" by the left. However much they'd like to.

The origins of the UDHR (Universal Declaration of Rights) are actually quite interesting - Eleanor Roosevelt brokering a deal between American/Western desires for protection of what are termed -ve rights (freedom "from", torture, imprisonment, etc) in exchange for Communist protection of what are termed +ve rights - right to food, shelter, health.

You'll actually find "the right to freedom of choice of education" in there, somewhere, although these days that seems a little controversial in blighty....;) or was that another thread...

Happy to pop up from the left and point out that I don't believe in them, if that helps you.

    Hello Nick.
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!

    Hello Nick.

Thought you'd be likely to pop up. Seems more legitimate here than on the "bet the bookies" thread....
But your politics do continue to confuse me!
