  • I was looking at the current newsletter, there was a an offer for two weekday tickets to 'London Grand Designs Live' at the EXCEL Centre but the link takes me to an old e-mail dated Feb 2009 and I cant find anything there. Please help.
  • Waterstones cardholders can get 2 for 1 entry to National Trust properties by printing out a form and filling it in, and some other offers. See the Waterstones website, "Waterstone's Card", "Exclusive Extras" page.

Hope this is the right place to post this, if not please move/delete. Thanks :-)
I never knew there were so many things I can get along without
  • WILD THINGS: LIVE!

COMING TO A SHOPPING CENTRE NEAR YOU…

    THIS EASTER

Easter may traditionally be associated with bunnies and cute chicks but a more exotic selection of animals will take centre stage this April as Wild Things: Live! hits the road. The unique, interactive experience features animal educators bringing up close encounters with a variety of furry, feathered and fanged creatures from around the world including penguins, lemurs and exotic reptiles. Wild Things: Live! will visit shopping centres around the UK between Friday 10th and Thursday 16th April 2009.

Presented by SeaWorld and Busch Gardens in Florida, the entertaining and educational roadshow will give families a free chance to get up close and personal with amazing animals, learn about conservation and have the chance to win a family holiday to Florida to visit the Worlds of Discovery Parks including SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Aquatica and Discovery Cove.

Wild Things: Live! is free of charge and will run during shopping centre opening hours at the following locations:

Good Friday - 10th April - BLUEWATER, KENT
    Saturday - 11th April - HIGHCROSS, LEICESTER
Easter Monday - 13th April - THE CENTRE: MK, MILTON KEYNES
    Tuesday - 14th April - ARNDALE, MANCHESTER
    Wednesday - 15th April - METROCENTRE, NEWCASTLE
Thursday - 16th April - BUCHANAN GALLERIES, GLASGOW

  • My friends used daysout.co.uk and downloaded some vouchers for Bristol Zoo for a child free with an adult and had a great time and saved £15 on the day. It only cost £10 to have unlimited downloads for a whole year and it includes a mag with loads of discounts in too worth £4.95! There's hundreds of attractions with vouchers on their website so we can afford to go out if we've got big families and can't afford to go abroad this year.
  • I've just spotted that Argentina are playing England at Old Trafford in June and tickets are only £10!!!

  • Free child entry to Legoland Windsor with Green's Cake Mix is not what it seems

Following Martin's recommendation I just bought said cake mix with the aim of securing free child entry with a paying adult.

Reading the small print, which you can only do after purchase as it's on the inside of the cake mix packet, I discover that free child entry is only for the under 3s. Not very much use and a little dishonest, with Legoland marketing itself as a great day out for kids aged 3 and up!

Martin, you need to mention this restriction in your recommendation, obviously it dramatically reduces the attractiveness of the deal.
  • Hi Guys,

I always find it hard to keep my kids entertained (Easter Half Term is not a holiday for me?!) on their hols, but I saw this site advertised and used it a couple of times to keep them entertained. Its got some really good discounts on parks, museums, aquariams etc all over the UK - nice and easy to use too and no purcahse neccesary! ContiGreatDaysOut.co.uk
