I updated to AOL BB 6 months ago (using Martin's trick of finding the best deal and then blagging your current provider to match it).
So got 18 month contract, 8 Mb , unlimited usage for 9.99 for term of contract. All was good.
Three months later price goes up to 14.99. Get on the phone complain and get assurances from ireland (not india this time) that the contract would be back to 9.99 for the remaining 15 months, refund of extra fiver etc etc.
Three months pass and guess what??!!?? Yup, the price has gone to 14.99 again! Phoned them up and was told by india that it was "clearly stated that the price would go up to 14.99" when i agreed six months ago, I quite clearly said it no it wasn't, that this is the second time i've had to complain about this and i wish to have my mac code Was transferred over to Ireland this time.
Ireland offered me 9.99 again, said no and asked for mac code. Ireland said that it would cost me 7 pounds for each month left of the contract. I said no it wouldn't as this is a case of breach of contract.
Was then offered 6.99 for the remaining months of the contract, said i required that in writng (both in email and in an letter) before i agreed. Recieved the email now and should get the letter in the next week.
What's the betting i have to go through all this again in 3 months????
