Just trying to order one of these but when I put in my postcode (Chester area) it says they don't deliver to this area. I have tried a couple of relative's postcodes as well and am getting same message. Any suggestions?

i dont know much about these sort of thing but as it is showing as an analogue tv will this cause problems when everything switches over to digital in a few years time, thanks for anyones help on this as i have been looking to purchase one of these for my bedroom and have been pricing them up over the past couple of weeks

analog and digital at the moment won't cause you a problem as this is ref. the signal via the tuner for the television (i.e a digital box can be used to provide the signal to the screen rather than using the in-built analog tuner). Modern TVs with in-built digital systems are becoming more common place but, for the most part, are limited to terrestrial digital tv (freeview etc. through your regular aerial) rather than a satellite set-up.

Digital set-up (aerial / sat dish --- digital box --- tv (screen)
Analog (aerial --- analaog tuner built into tv)

This TV is unlikely to be HD complinat - which is the new hi definintion standard. Unitl Sky launch their high def. support an HDTV is of little use to you unless you have some equipment (like a games console) that can output a HD signal. Unless you are a real tv lover - we're talking £££ for big LCDs etc - I really wouldn't worry about HD just yet.

Quickly typed but hopefully answers the question

Have tried all locals stores but they are out of stock so need to order online, even though there is a delivery charge of £20, it is still much cheaper than anywhere else.

Yeah, that is a good price for this telly.

I was looking at this model a few months ago when I was looking to buy one for the kitchen. Ended up buying on ebay (coolview 17" widescreen lcd) for about £160. But if I was still looking for one I'd definitely go for this.
