Been keeping an eye out for this one.
£199 for this (im my estimation) Sharp tv
http://www.powerhouse.co.uk/pws/ProductDetails.ice?ProductID=19540
You'll need to be quick though , almost £100 + more expensive on other sites.
Currently 324 as a web exclusive in Currys. Other onliners (RGB direct) have them at £350 +. I would say its a good buy.

It is most definately "widescreen"
However as with most widescreen TV's you will still get the black bars top and bottom when watching a widesccreen movie because the proportions are not the same as the images

My concerns are the sound - often on these TV's it's a bit 'tinny' - and the backlight which tends to filter through at the top and bottom of the screen to give 'horizontal bands'. Is this the case with this TV?0

Can you use this as a pc monitor?0

I believe if you have a Lloyds TSB current account then you can get 10% discount with Powerhouse.
Not sure of the name of the current account.Matched betting profits since 11/10/06 = £1,5540
