Tesco petrol adverts

I live in Bucks and my local Tesco is doing this offer so we went and did our weekly shop there last Sat. The man on the checkout stopped when he got to a total of £50 and said 'If you spend £100 you won't get two vouchers, so do you want to pay for this lot, and then the second half separately and then you'll get two petrol vouchers ?' Of course we said yes, but our second lot wasn't quite £50.00's worth, so we stocked up on washing powders and stuff we'd have needed soon anyway to get it there. I am amazed he bothered, but it's worth doing if you have a bill anywhere near £100. Also I just rang them to ask how long promotion going on for, they said that they never had any warning about when it would stop but it usually lasted 2 - 3 weeks and always stopped on a Sunday, so I'm off back on Saturday again ! (we use a lot of petrol and have really been struggling lately). Even if they put the price of petrol up a bit 5p a litre is still a reduction in the overall spend.0

I'M SO SORRY. I didn't realise this was the N.I board - thought it was the geddit grabbit board. PLease can kind Board Guide move it, not fair to people in NI to tempt them with offers Mr T isn't making to them !
SO SORRY.:o0 -
Just used the 5p off voucher in Tesco Ballymena with no diffs. :j
Anything that brings down the extortionate price at the minute is welcome!!!!0 -
I shop Tesco's and got my first one yesterday, its still worth checking out the cost p litre first though, I've been getting petrol from a garage where I live a good few pence cheaper than the supermarket prices.

Yes, thats what i use too. found one on my way to work 2p a litre cheaper.
Also, there are cashback credit cards - i use the egg one all the time - gets me 1% back. Not much but i'd be spending the money anyway.0
