Hi Guys
First time posting after some advice please!
I have just moved into a new rented flat and I'm trying to sort out what the best broadband/TV option is.
Virgin is out of the question as we aren't in a cabled area.
There is a Sky minidish here already, so my first thought was to get Sky broadband and TV from them. However it seems where we live we can only get Sky's more expensive broadband which has a 40gb limit... I definitely need unlimited downloads.
As we are paying BT line rental anyway, my current plan is to get their broadband service... Can anyone recommend this?
TV wise I'm thinking of getting the Sky freesat deal, although I'm tempted by the Humax freesat receiver as we have an HDTV...
Sorry for the rambling post, I guess I'm after ideas/feedback from anyone who has been in a similar situation. Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Oli

As you have a sky dish I would go for the "new" freesat service (not the sky one) as you will get subscription free HD services (subject to buying the box of course at about £150)
The only downside at the moment is that some of the programmes are unavailable, CH 4 and CH5??, but they will come on stream later.0 -
If you've got an Orange mobile phone, you can get a deal with them so that you get unlimited broadband, home phone calls/ international calls from home and a wireless router for £17, and that includes your line rental. I think it's called 'Max'. The only things I've heard about BT is that they are more expensive and you don't get anything better for the money.0
