good luck to all that try my recipe let mme know how you get on .. if there is enough interest i`ll set up a new thread for thing food related and maybe i can help with other stuff too as i also do buffets and i currently work in a hospital special diets section so i could perhaps help with anyone that needs advice regarding gluten free/ low residue/low potassium diets etc
and maybe others with food industry experience could contribute too,0 -

Just back from Sainsburys and Tesco and couldn't get Fenugreek leaves but did get seeds (are these a suitable substitute?) or the garlic/ginger paste but did get a smooth garlic paste?
Are these ok?

you could add some seeds but do it at the beginning when you fry the onions off, dont add to many as they are quite strong tasting and a slightly different taste to the leaves, a small pinch should be plenty.
the seeds are very good for a veg curry though0 -

im looking forward to tearing apart some supermarket/restaurant dishes and cutting them back to basic ingredients/ methods and hopefully save some people some money along the way0 -
