The deal with O2 PAYG?

Just wanted to know if anyone could clear up the confusion i have over O2's Pay As You Go Tariff. The O2 website states that a £10 top up a month will get you 300 texts. But I'm sure i've seen in these forums that if u top up £15 a month u get the 300 texts, plus 150 mins, plus the £15 credit! is this true? are O2 just not letting potential customers know about this??

If you top up by £15 or more you can choose 300 texts,and 150 offpeak x-net minutes and still have the £15 to spend.(You cant have 100 anytime x-net min,s and 150 offpeak x-net mins though).
It is hidden somewhere on their site.If i find it later i will give you the link.

If you call their CS they can set it up for you.

ah fab, thanks for getting back to me. Let me just check then to be sure...

£15 a month will get me 300 texts, 150 off peak mins, and £15 credit? to me that sounds a pretty decent deal, altho i no u dont get a fone as well

they should contact you before they start charging so you get a chance to cancel one of these.

and the international bolt-on is free to get at the moment normally £4.99 one-off payment. gives 10p international texts and reduces call costs.
