The customer services on the former rang up to check and were asked to scan the barcode. It didn't scan. They were asked to try the number. It didn't recognise it.
Asda took one look and said no.
Some months ago Coke were doing a promotion on their new vitamin plus drinks. It was a self-printed voucher. Most supermarkets accepted them - sometimes after calling over a colleague. In Asda I used it on their quick checkout machine, and happily inserted the voucher ! Now, I notice they have closed off this slot with a note to call for assistance !!!
Wish they would do that again - kept me in supply for a few weeks !!!Thank you for reading this message.0 -
I had no trouble printing it off, the software was easy to uninstall too.
Took the coupon to my local Morrisons and had absolutely no trouble redeeming it. I don't think she scanned it, she just checked to see when it ran out and how much I had paid for the juice and she took the £1.99 off the total. I have used these kinds of coupons a few times in Morrisons and have never had any trouble.0 -
Tesco would not take at the checkout, they said I would have to go to customer services to have it authorised.0

In any case, my point was that they force you to install another piece of s/w. It's all these little utilities that slow your PC to a crawl over time. Some of them (although probably not this one) contain spyware too. I'd rather pay for the smoothie, whether it's Nestle's or anyone else's.0 -

Nestle are evil and their products should be boycotted at all costs.0 -
They provided a service, and should be paid for it regardless of profits.0

I would be very very careful when installing a .exe file for the purposes of downloading a coupon.
I would be very surprised if this didn't put some spyware on your machine. If you have already installed I would advise running a full anti virus and anti-spyware check.0 -

try the Arms not here for extremist political discussion - your comments would make me buy an xtra jar of Nescafe.
I am also glad that the smoothie offer was posted on here, one of the most popular forums, and that the Nestle issue is being debated on here. I hope that Nestle's malpractice can be highlighted to many people who may not have previously been aware of it.0 -
