There was a thread earlier in the week on Bisquick here - it has a link to a thread on Convenience Mixes (similar to yours) too ;) 1.5kg value flour is 36p, whick makes the Bisquick 500g for 40pliik expensive IMHO.

Will you wave to Sutton in Ashfield from me - I was born there :T

    Penny. x

Penny, My back garden is Sutton Lawn and just gave it a wave for you!!:rotfl:

In an arrogant 'sees self as author' moment t'other day I did checkout prices of self-publishing a book. :o

But then got a bit confused by what it would be! Is it like a recipe book, or is it a story book of mad foraging debacles?:D

Hmmmmn. Perhaps I'll just stick to me day job!;)

    Weezl x

Both me'dear. And menuplans and detailed costings. And A.M.'s thoughts on the matter. AND nutritional info.

    Package deal then I reckon:D

(errr......and dont forget those Weezl quips "The geek shall rule the world" and all that).

Ok so I'm a div  - but honestly some of the ones in Aldi (and in Tesco for that matter) have seriously pointy bottoms and I think it would take more than a tiny slice :o

I bought a bag of peppers at asda this week for 1.38 that had a mix of 8 peppers in red, green and yellow. they are really nice and large enough to stuff. In my opinion were a better value than the aldi special this week
