blackpool-help please

whats not to miss, whats to avoid? any special offers, so far i know about the 'tetley fun' where you get a free wristband for pleasure beach and if you save tower tickets you can get reduced entry into waxworks.

theres 2 things thats confusing me
1.) pleasure beach..i will be going with family but as im not a thrill seeker, what kind of ticket should i purchase..i dont imagine ill go on many except the kiddie rides-the only option i can see for kiddie rides only is the junior wristband but then im not a junior..anyone know? also would 1 day be long enough to do all kiddie rides and see rest, we will not be doing pepsi max etc lol
2.) tower - once you pay entry into the tower, does that include everything i.e. circus, aquarium etc? is circus good? is it a first come first served thing or do you book?
3) sealife-is it worth going if we go to the aquarium at the tower too

we only have 3 days there so we want to cram as much as poss in. 1 def will be the sandcastle waterpark.

anyone know of any other offers for anywhere else? thanks our kids are only 9 and 6

xmyx :j we are going on holiday yippee :j :j

Don't buy a wristband, and purchase tickets at the machine if you decide to go on the kiddie rides (assuming you're allowed on!) The ticket machine is subject to a minimum spend, I can't recall, but it's around £5-£10. Beware of Amanda Thompsons charging regime! I'd advise filling up with grub and juice before you go in. I think one day is plenty, Beaver Creek is quite small.

Not sure about the Circus, but the aquarium is included. he Sea Life centre is far better than the Tower aquarium! but it's still good.

Have a good time! I live in Blackpool, so if you have any other questions just hollar.

When you pay for entry to the tower, it's all included and they'll book you a seat at the circus. We went in October, and the circus is very entertaining, even the kids thought so and they're 12 and 13!! they moaned when we left a bit early to go up to the top of the tower (to avoid the queues).

We did a day at the pleasure beach, but that was because my DD who was always afraid to go on the kiddy rides suddenly decided rollercoasters were great and we did EVERYTHING twice, even the pepsi max! Then she decided she wanted to do all the old coasters in the front car!

The next morning we did the waxworks, and ripleys believe it or not (which is a museum of strange things - good for the kids) and the tower in the afternoon. We booked our pleasure beach tickets on line as it was cheaper.

We have been on loads of holidays, and both the kids still say Blackpool was the best ever!

The waterpark was the only thing we didn't do, but we had to have an excuse to go back this year!

    Have a great weekend.

    Entry is free hun.

Amanda Thompson is the MD of the Pleasure Beach, but ignore that. :D

If you think you'll get value out of the wristbands, then go for it.

I'll asume the price of the wristband is £25. I'm not sure, or have looked, what the discount may be for this Tetley offer.

If it was £25, which of course would be better with any discount, this is how it would go.

I think the Pepsi max is currently £9.... so a couple of bashes on that and a ride that wasn't thought as good, your £25 is covered. That's how I would think of it, but that is up to you. :)

Most of the decent rides are £8+ so try to work out if the tickets or the wristband would work out best for you. Try to remember the minimum spend on the ticket machines, too - as they are designed to make you buy more than you might need.
