    You said earlier he was going to change jobs so he can pay you some CM - 15% of whatever he earns for one child.
    As has been said make sure you inform the tax credit agencies of your new circumstances and also your local authority to claim your 25% discount on your council tax.
    Get some advice but do sit down with your husband as well. The more you stay talking throughout this process the easier it will be for everyone, particularly your DD.

    You also need to check whether there are any joint finances (back accounts, credit cards etc) and either close the account, or have your name taken off the account and a new account opened.
