Ebay - Best things to sell?

Since this thread seems to have raised everyone's hackles I will withdraw my question and slink back off into areas where I will not get my jugular ripped open :-(

  • The best things to sell are things that you buy for next to nothing but are so desirable that they sell for large amounts!!

When you find out what that is please let me know. :)

I want to sell some stuff on ebay have been checking to see how much things are going for and found the majority of them are not selling at all - books, cd's and dvd's - so I wondered - what are the best things to list in order to have the best chance of selling - I hate paying the fees and then not getting a sale!

    Don't sell anything French...

"i sent a letter headded sales of god act 1979"

You forgot to mention "lightweight" so that you can pay little for postage whilst overcharging for it...

Maybe we can hijack this thread to try and find the ebay Holy Grail.

    So far it has to:

    1. Cost next to nothing
    2. Sell for very high prices
    3. Not be French or S. African.
    4. Be very light so that you can also make a killing on the P&P.

    What else??

    5. Unbreakable to make it eay to send without worrying about breakage.

    Any More?

To the OP. You could try doing some research yourself. A simple search in this forum would pull up loads of thread exactly the same as yours as they come up on a weekly basis.

If anyone has a surefire way of making money off ebay, then they're certainly not going to tell anyone else now, are they?

Sorry to come across blunt, but that's life.
