Ebay - Best things to sell?

Exactly, It's about making and saving money, not giving it away, and it is a very impertinent question to ask when people have worked hard to find the answers out through hard work and lessons learned.shopaholictiedtheknot wrote: »

This site is full of people helping others to make money or haven't you gathered that? oh and one more
for good measure!
I do have a very profitable product that I sell, and it earns me a considerable income each year.
If I share it with you, I could lose a big chunk of this, but I am willing to sell the information to you for £15,000 - which would cover my losses. Does that sound like a good reason why people do not share supplier information?
I'm happy enough to share experiences and tips, but some information is just too sensitive to share on a VERY public forum like this.
Besides that, a lot of success comes down to the individual - Last year I sold about 10,000 DVD's, but I was watching "competitors" who had more listings and cheaper prices, and they were not selling anywhere near as many as I was.
It's not WHAT you sell, but HOW you sell.
When General Electric Domestic Appliances started selling fridges in Alaska, people thought they were mad, but the fridges stopped milk from freezing solid, and they sold millions....<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Sorry OP, it wasn't intended to be nasty in any way at all.
More of a joke as this type of thread appears more or less on a daily basis.
Lighten up!

Same for me OP, no offence intended.... no need to throw the toys out of the pram....
Its just difficult to give one particular product that is "the best thing to sell". If there was one then everyone would do it and then it would no longer be the best thing to sell....
So as SJB said it needs to be something that very few people have / can get access to, cost very little to buy but sell for lots....
I once got a book for free and sold it for £35. If I could do that 20,000 times i'd be rich and i'd definately say thats the best thing to sell, but at the end of the day, getting it free is a one off and its specialist so even if I had 20,000 i'd only sell 20 max...0 -
stress balls meet most of the criteria....
Light
Cheap to make
Cheap to post
Won't get damaged in the post...
Only problem is they fall down on the "will sell for lots of money" bit.....
BTW whats with the "not French" and "not S. African" bits?!?!0 -
