SF I saw your post and went away to think about it and this is exactly what I thought but Nyk beat me to it. Normally situations like this are raised by busybodies who know that they are no good at anything so they need to raise their own profile by putting other people down. You know you work hard so you can take your strength from that knowledge. It doesn't mean that it is not upsetting. Of course it is.If it helps you I started crying once when one of our parners accused me for not wanting solutions and claimed that I was just bringing more problems to the table. It is a long story but it got sorted in the end.

DD is downstairs watching her video (Brambley Hedge (sp?)). I will go and get her in 6 minutes. Then it is time for me to have some - Nyk look away - Chardonnay and Pringles :j and a nice long bath!!! Bliss. Sophiesmum, so envy you about the sauna, it used to be a regular Saturday night thing for me back home but here haven't had the opportunity so bath will do.
It has been great week in matched betting. I managed to be in the right place at the right time on Tuesday and got a tip of this great offer for Goodwood which finished today. I have made over £240.- in five days. :T So I think I can afford to have a day off tomorrow. :rotfl:Especially as I am pulling all the money back to my current account for a mo before doing some more MB when I can afford to fund the float at the exchange again. Shame as I just managed to get 2% discount for my BF commission which I am losing as I am not able to continue to do bets on same level.
Sorry to be so positive when lots of you have not that nice things going on.
Wishing you all relaxing Saturday evening.
Marru

Marru, don't be silly, it's so great to hear you enjoying the simple pleasures in life - namely our good friends Chardonnay and Pringle
Don't forget there's a spa pass with your name on it so that sauna is not so far away! We can reward ourselves after working hard on Tuesday
I'm about to get in the bath myself, first time in months it seems...sadly without C and P though.
Ooh, good news though -I'm getting one of those radiator covers tomorrow which is big enough to hide our horrible 70s fire in the lounge :j Beats paying 2k+ to get our boiler replaced, inefficient though it is. I love Freecycle! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Are you joking TBeckett? You must have a well paid job!
Right peeps, which is more cost effective - getting a second small freezer for my veggies and more whoopsies, or not? My freezer is rammed.
I've got two freezers, means I can do more batch cooking and make stuff with my fruit and veggies that we can eat out of season. Having said that I now have two freezers full to bursting:o Second one has more than paid for itself though already with stuff i have been able to store.
Re the lettuce - once my basket toms have finished I am going to use the baskets for lettuce, and herbs, for the rest of the summer - slugs can't get to them up in the air. I definately think hanging baskets are the way to go for small stuff.0 -

Bails, what a brilliant idea. :T I'd really like to get rid of the ugly fireplace in our back room, but can't afford that. The ancient gas fire in there was condemmed, but we have central heating so don't need it anyway. Now going to start looking for something like your radiator cover to hide it0 -
Slowlyfading :kisses3: hope you are feeling happier now. I wouldn't worry about it, there are four other people working with you who don't have a problem;) so I would see it as this person's problem and not yours.
Fact of life that there is always !!!!!iness at work, which is one reason i love my job as i work alone and don't have to deal with works politics.
oops I have been censored!!!!0 -

Well my no spend day went to pot this afternoon with the arrival of DS3, who was all excited about going on a camping holiday with his friends this month:rolleyes: slight problem he and GF have no tent etc. Upshot of it all is that I ended up in Asda agreeing to treat him to a tent, luckily there is 25% off camping stuff this week. Managed to get him a three man pop up type tent complete with two camping chairs, two sleeping bags and a camping lantern, all packed into a carry bag - with the discount came to just £32.00 :T Bargain!!! Nyk the small tents which were less than £8 are now less than £6 - almost giving them away:D
So now have £32 to deduct from totals, plus £2 from contingency fund that I spent on bananas and onions.0
