La, la, la ...I'm not listening to any posts with % in! I've had a lovely day with DH...christmas shopping. Got some great stuff. Happy, happy day.
Ha ha, I'll leave the nasty P word out of my post thenGlad you've had a lovely day.
Big hugs Sophiesmum, glad we can provide a bit of normality. Thinking of you and your family and especially your brother xxx
As for the doom and gloom conversation  we've been in recession for the past 2 months. I wasn't involved with it all last time but if it gets that bad again then eek!
Disappointing day here - I was officially advised, by the people who help people back into employment, not to go back to work :mad:Anyhoo, I know now what I can't do so now I'm working on a plan for what I can do. Watch this space
Never mind about forgetting your purse and dinner Marru, you're making great progress :TGlad today was more fun too!
SF, I understand what you mean and yet everyone is here for each other so please feel free to post any time and we can help you out. What's up hun, is it about your dad going away?

SF *strictly non-patronising post coming up* the time after uni can be a very unsettling period and it takes time to adjust to the next stage. You're far from alone in feeling like this, I know many people who've felt the same; my OH is currently going through a similar thing. Your dad's departure is of course exacerbating everything, as you've one less stable force around you right now. Give yourself a big hug and know that we are all here for you whenever you need some moral support. As for the jobs, is it possible to manage on 2 part-time ones? That way you would have some free time to enjoy yourself (v important) and not be so constantly exhausted. It's hard not knowing what direction life is going to take after being in 'the system' for so long but trust that it will become clear in time xxxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Aw, SF, it does matter - these are not small things, so don't feel 'bad' for expressing them. Your dad being away is really hard and add to that the stress of 3 jobs, I'm not suprised you feel a little low. It's really really important to look after yourself right now. Try and completely chill out when you can, and certainly don't beat yourself up for feeling this way. Feeling constantly shattered is horrid, whatever the cause and it's draining your reserves to cope with anything else. And feeling lost is horrible too. Is there anyway you can drop one of the jobs. Doing 3 is an impressivbe committment to be responsible for yourself financially, but you need time and energy to look for something better rather than driving yourself into the ground.:grouphug:I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

hahaha, evening bails.
Sorry you got news you didn't want today. Did they tell you not to return to work becasue they knew you weren't well enough and/or becasue the benefit system is not able to accomodate your desires to give it a go with super elastic flexibilty?
Sorted more books to sell on amazon tonight but not put them on yet. Day 4 of annual leave and every day I have managed to do a few practical jobs so I feel quite good about that. Must go and sort the next fortnight's worth of menu plan now. Tomorrow I have my first attempt at making pastiesthanks to my remoska, or baboushka as OH calls her.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Slowly Fading, I agree whole heartedly with all that Bails and BB have said, sometimes it's hard to remember all that you've achieved, i'm sure it will all work out in the end and you'll find a really great career. Sending you big hugs for now (((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))0

*boring benefits talk, please feel free to ignore*
Thanks BB. Um, I fall through the system, as expected. In fact, my job wasn't even on the computer programme so I had to go under 'specialised - other'!! I can't do Permitted Work or anything else so my only option is to build up completely on voluntary and OH will have to help support me, which as you can imagine I am so absolutely gutted about; he shouldn't have to do that. Will talk more about it with you when I've had chance to work out my plan...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Aww, you guys are awesome! If there a teary, smiley face I'd be using it right now. I think I'm going to have to leave one of the jobs, I just can't keep doing this day after day. Its not even worth it money wise - two of them aren't fantastic paywise, and the other is 10 hours a week, which isn't enough! Its just working out which one would be the one to drop. I'll do a list of pros and cons for them all tomorrow and try to work it out.
I think it is scary finally being at the end of education, and there not being an obvious "path" anymore. I went to uni because I didn't know what else to do at the time, and so going to do (as well as being expected to go) a degree seemed like a good step. Now, its just a mass of uncertainty, and I'm not good at that!
Thanks for the hugs - I feel selfish as sophiesmum is going through a really tough time now, as are other members, and here's me rambling on about nothing  but thanks for listening to me xxBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's not nothing SF and you're not rambling on about nothing. Everything is relative to our own lives too. Look after yourself and let us know which job comes bottom of the pros/cons list xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
